I am currently downloading the Crack by Theta for Max Payne 3 1.0.0.29 version and I’m wondering if it is compatible with my Max Payne 3 Skidrow version. :unsure:
The problem is that I cannot find Skidrow crack for version 1.0.0.29 and I cannot even stop the update since the auto update would force me to update the game to 1.0.0.29 in order to play it but there is no Skidrow crack for it except for Theta’s crack.
After the update, I am encountering strange problem with message that said “Social Club UI failed to initialize” which disabled the game menu and it makes it also impossible to enter the CD key whether it is a valid key or the pirate keygen’s key. The skidrow crack of version 1.0.0.17 fixed this problem by making it possible for me to see the “Press Enter button” but when I pressed the Enter button, the game just crashed.
Maybe it is because my current skidrow crack of version 1.0.0.17 is outdated and causing the game with version 1.0.0.29 to crash to desktop so this means that I have to wait for skidrow crack for version 1.0.0.29 to be release otherwise I cannot play this game. :blink:
For the meantime, I will try the Theta’s crack for version 1.0.0.29 which is currently available but I’m not sure if it is going to work. :unsure:
I currently have a solution for people like me who is stuck with version 1.0.0.29 and cannot find the crack for version 1.0.0.29 and now I am able to play the game: :cheerful:
(My current solution might not be the best solution because I just simply skipped the update for version 1.0.0.29 and only updated the game to version 1.0.0.28 only since there is a working crack for version 1.0.0.28.)
1. For those who had already updated the game to version 1.0.0.29, uninstall the game and make a new fresh install of the game.
2. Connect to the internet and open the game and let the game download and update the game to version 1.0.0.28 but be careful because once it reach version 1.0.0.28 then you had to press the cancel button in order to avoid it to proceed to version 1.0.0.29. The trick is to avoid the update to version 1.0.0.29. Basically, we don’t want it to update to version 1.0.0.29 but we only wanted it to update just to version 1.0.0.28.
3. After cancelling the auto updater, go to the game directory to check if MaxPayne3.exe version is 1.0.0.28 by going to its Properties and Details. If it is version 1.0.0.28 then you are fine.
4. Download the crack from Gamecopyworld.com by searching for “Max Payne 3″ on Gamecopyworld website and the crack or fixed exe is for version 1.0.0.28 which is called “t-maxp33c.7z” by Theta. You need 7zip to extract the crack from this archive.
5. Copy or Extract all the crack files into the game directory. :ninja:
6. Create Firewall rules to block PlayMaxpayne3.exe and Maxpayne3.exe included renderer.exe (from Social Club directory) and enable the firewall but don’t disconnect the internet. This is meant to avoid the auto updater from downloading and updating the game to version 1.0.0.29. :ninja:
7. Open the game again and press enter but do not create the nickname or profile yet since you would not be able to do it because of the firewall which is blocking the game from going online.
8. Press the windows button on your keyboard to get back to the windows desktop without having to close the game. :ninja:
9. Disable the firewall but again do not disconnect your internet.
10. Get back to the game and create your nickname/profile.
11. Enjoy the game!
Note: Next time, before you open and play the game, you can re-enable your firewall and play the game also without the internet connection or you can play the game offline. :cheerful:
PS: for those who have problem with “Social Club UI failed to initialize”:
Uninstall it and re-install Social Club by going to the DVD image of DVD1 which is located in Redistributables/RGSC/Social Club Setup.
If you cannot uninstall it then go to the regedit and press Find on Edit menu to find “Rockstar Social Club”. Once the regedit finds it then you should delete it and press “Find next” again on Edit menu. Once it finds the key associated with Rockstar Social Club again then delete them until there is none in the windows registry.
Go back to Social Club Setup to see if it will work.
